Freeform features two classically trained musicians who learned how to improvise through their love of video game music. Comprised of waldhorner on French horn and zdmajor7 on piano, the pair put their own spin on classic VGM tunes. You may also know them as the Music Director and Library Director, respectively, of the Washington Metropolitan Gamer Symphony Orchestra (WMGSO). In addition to their roles in music leadership, both are prolific arrangers for the group. From classic chiptunes from the NES era to sweeping symphonic sounds from recent releases, you’ll be sure to enjoy a vigorous variety of VGM!
